Play Therapy
Play is a child’s natural language and primary medium of self-expression. Through play, children express their thoughts and feelings, share their inner world, explore their social environment, make meaning of their experiences, and experiment with new social skills and ways of being. Play also allows children to engage in complex developmental tasks and communicate their needs, thoughts, desires, and wishes.
Play therapy is an effective approach for children as young as three years old, that allows them to safely explore and work through inner and outer struggles. Using selected toys and materials, play therapy helps children resolve challenges, develop problem-solving skills, modify behaviours, access inner resources, build resilience, and strengthen self-image.
Child-centered play therapy is the primary modality I use in my work with young children, as they express themselves more fully and directly through spontaneous play, and will naturally address what they need to work on. As a child-centered play therapist, I bring a warm, steady, and curious presence to each session. I believe that healing happens through safe, trusting relationships, and I strive to create a space where your child feels seen, heard, and accepted just as they are. With deep respect for the child’s inner world, I follow their lead in play, offering gentle support and emotional attunement as they explore, express, and grow.

Individual Counselling
I provide individual therapy for youth and adults by meeting each person where they are at with warmth, compassion, and collaboration. Whether you're navigating a period of crisis, coping with the weight of life’s stressors, or healing from the impact of trauma or abuse, individual therapy provides a warm and supportive space to process your experiences, move through grief and challenges, and reconnect with your inner resources. I take a person-centered approach, drawing from narrative, emotion-focused, and existential therapies, as well as evidence-based practices from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Together, we explore what matters most to you and work toward meaningful change.
I support youth facing challenges such as divorce transitions, bullying, difficulty making friends, and self-harm. Throughout the counselling process, I help clients make sense of their experiences, build insight, and take empowering steps toward growth and well-being.

Family Therapy
I provide family therapy to help families better understand and navigate the challenges in their relationships and daily functioning. This includes support for blended families, families adjusting after separation or divorce, and those experiencing ongoing conflict, life transitions, or communication breakdowns.
In our work together, we explore the patterns and unspoken rules that shape how family members relate to each other. Often, when one person is in pain, others respond in ways that, though well-meaning, can unintentionally keep the family stuck. Every family brings a unique history shaped by shared beliefs, experiences, and interpretations that influence how members interact. In therapy, we work collaboratively to improve communication, manage conflict in healthy ways, and support your family through transitions or stressors. The goal is to build stronger, resilient, and more connected relationships where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.
